    Yakima Sidewinder and Triplet

I am thinking of getting a cheap triplet (yeah yeah, ya get what ya pay for, I know, I've covered this aspect in different posts, I am still thinking of taking the plunge, maybe I'm just dense), but would like to know if a Yakima Sidewinder would be usable with a triplet. Since it clamps on the front fork and the bottom tube, it would probably "fit", but would it be workable / a good idea? Thanks for your thoughts.

I was not aware that a cheap triplet existed but you could try the search function since you are not the first rider to try this. I searched for triplet hauling and ogt a few threads. This one seemed to have the most info: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...auling+triplet

Call me dumb, didn't even think to do a search. Thanks.

Yakima says, "Our Sidewinder was tested for tandems only so it may work with a triple but it would not be considered a warranted fit."
