Tour of California Stage 8

When you are watching the Tour of California stage 8 on Sunday try to imagine traveling down the same descent as the racers, but on a tandem and blowing out a front tire. We did just that a few years ago. Were it not for a driveway in the right spot we would have been toast.

This is popular cycling route just over a hill from us.

It is going to be exciting to watch Lance and all the others on the descent. I hope everyone stays on the road with the rubber side down. It has some hairball sections.

reversegear, OMG! Glad you guys made it out ok. That could've been a trainwreck of epic proportions.
