Identify this classic tandem

Any ideas on the maker and age of this bike? If you can see in the picture, it has drum brakes on both wheels, and a three speed hub. It is gorgeous, though it does need some work.

It belongs to one of our club members in Buenos Aires.

These type of tandems were sold in KIt form by bicycle parts wholesellers like Brown Bro's.And shop including Taylor,Russ,Fathergill, etc just ordered the stock kit for the customer, and brazed up the frame.

also does it have a headbadge or decal that you can show?
The rear hub should have a date on it and I nust say---nice bars!

Could not see any identifying badges. One of our club members thinks it might be a Husqvarna. Here is a detail of the headlamp and the brake.

Maybe the front drum is a clue, I looked up Husqvarna on Flickr, and came up a lot of motorcycles and chainsaws, but limiting to bicycle came up with this military bicycle also with a front drum.

This is my Swedish army bicycle. No matter where you go in Sweden, you'll see these parked in the bike racks. They're durable, designed for Swedish conditions, and heavy as all hell.
