Blackburn low riders on KHS Alite

We have KHS Tandemania Alite and have experienced difficulty mounting Blackburn custon low rider racks on the fork bosses; the bosses don't seem to be in the right place for correct fitting of the low riders. The fudged fitting is not as stable as it should be.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Are there other low rider racks (Tubus, Thorn etc) that will fit these bosses properly?

Thanks for any advice.

Ian

Could be a positioning production error by KHS, check with your LBS where you bought the tandem. Should be able to use some sort of clamp to attach lo-riders in proper place on the fork. Not as pretty, but do-able.

Yep, I think that's what I'm going to have to do. Any recommendations on better low riders that Blackburn, i.e. Jannd or Tubus?
