Melting Cannondale Brakes

I contacted AVID (SRAM) in regards to the adjusters on their disc brakes melting during long descents when used on Cannondale road tandems as reported in this forum. They replied that they have not heard of this problem but are very interested in solving it. I strongly encourage anyone who has had their adjusters melt contact Mike Reisenleiter (mreisenleiter@sram.com) at SRAM Technical Support.
