They were a very entry level tandem and not really worth a hole lot to most people.
I had one and used it for the kids I did do some parts swaps and made it were it was great for what I used it for photos here if interested.

    Fiore-Rebuild

    Orig.jpgStripped.jpgPainted.jpgFinish1.jpgHello All,
Im new here but... I also have just picked one up trying to figure out how old the bike is but like the rest of you there is little information on the internet. I just bought one the other day and will begin the rebuild this week. Since tandems are so hard to find down here in FL my choices were limited. I will post pics soon but i got this for 100.00 it probably is not worth more than 80 at best. I have lots of experience building bikes over the years and back in the day worked in a bike shop so rebuilds are fairly easy for me and I love a good project :-) Although the one I purchased may be old it seems to be in fairly good shape except for the rust. Just ordered some new parts for it yesterday including new seat posts and seats. Handlebars and stems are also on that order list. Like I said I will be sure to post some pics soon.

Has been out for the maiden ride yesterday and it was nice. First tandem ride scheduled for 4pm today :-)

    Same questions on Fiore tandem

Recently bought a used one also. Info from the bike we have shows "Made in Taiwan" on a sticker on the head tube. The Shimano Exage FH-HG50 rear 7 speed hub has an OL stamped on it, which would indicate Dec. 1990. The frame has a Serial number stamped beneath the front bottom bracket starting in M87*-*. This might be interpreted Dec. 1987, but have no way to verify it (this assumes it might be in Giant serial number format). No info on manufacturer or retailers who sold them. I've noticed there are 2 frame styles, represented by the different rear triangle structures on the bikes pictured on this thread. I've also found pictures of bikes with six or seven speed cassettes. I think Fiores (not to be confused with Fiori which is a different brand) are from late 1980's into early 90's. It would be interesting if someone who bought one new in the U.S. had more info.
