Scotland isn't such a bad place to stuck in. Especially riding your bike. I think you should reconcider NOT being stuck there.

btw, the checks in the mail!
It doesn't get harder, you just go slower.

Did someone hijack your e-mail account? This happened to me; someone hacked into my e-mail account and sent messages to everyone on my contact list saying that I was in London, had been robbed at gunpoint and needed money for a plane ticket home. They changed my password and it took a lot of effort to get it reset so that I could regain access to my own e-mail account. Good luck.

Yup . . . last year we were stuck in London, this time in Scotland.
These guys are not very imaginative.
Could not get into my own account; all's seems to be OK now.
We're now headed for Palermo, Sicily . . . it's warmer there than Glasgow!

Not so warm in Sicily today, as it's rainy and cold today. However, yesterday was really nice and I got in 120 km of sunny riding.

Same thing happened to me. Now I have a much longer password and I don't use it anywhere else.

    We had the same thing.

Zona, have you tried googling the phone number in the scammer's message. If it's like our experience, the identical message and a 10 year history is on the first identified site

Anyway, I sent you 6 million pounds, and I'd like it back as soon as convenient. I'll send you my bank details, account number and sort code through the webz, so that'll work fine.

    Arf!

The money that I sent was counterfeit. Maybe they'll get caught and arrested when they try to use it. Do you believe in karma?

Back to the post of getting your email accounts hacked. Hotmail and Yahoo are really bad. Several of my friends have been hacked. I have heard of SBC.global getting hit too. Consider switching over to Gmail. Their protection is supposedly the best. It is so good that I haven't received any of the lottery money I have won. Don't understand it

My dearest friend: If you will kindly wire me 1000$ to cover my expenses as was previously discussed, I will with pleasure send you the promised 500 thousand dollars USD.
