Da vinci Mt Tanden= wow
I ran into a guy & his gal riding this bike last week. WOW, I was amazed how nice it was. F/S mt tandem simply lovely. I own an old 1990's trek T-100 and I felt ashamed to say I ride a tandem when I say this thing.

If I buy another tandem it will probably be a Da Vinci. Probably need to find a partner for the one I have first.

If you take your finger out of your nose it might help. (Hey! It's YOUR avatar!)

Comparing a daVinci Symbiosis to '90s Trek T100 is like comparing a Hummer to a CJ5 Jeep!
Huge price difference and 20-some years updating in design/components between those 2 tandems!
Heck, the Symbiosis' fork co$t$ more than what a T100 is worth!
Quit droolin' and ride what you got!
Pedal on!

That backdrop sheet sure looks like an Alex Nutt MTBTandems, com photo.
If you get into riding tandems off road, there is some pretty crazy stuff to build and ride. Personally we have never ridden a Davinci, let alone one off-road. For us pedal strikes would be a serious concern as we constantly need to backpedal for clearance in technical terrain.
If it posts, this is our FS tandem getting a short rest at AORTA 2011. Stream crossing is on the hardtail Fandango 29r.
It's about having fun, ride the wheels off your bike, no doubt you smile with every pedal stroke.
Some links to off-road helmet cam stuff, I know this place is more road focused, but if you ever wondered about how dumb you can get off-road have a look. NBD if you don't. Often at road tandem events others wonder about off-road riding or share their experiences, sometimes good, sometimes not so good.

If you are interested in MTB tandems check out mtbr.com in the forums section under tandems. Some cool stuff!
Or try mtbtandems.com
We have all but given up on road tandems in favor of the dirt
