Shimano sweet 16: can 160 be converted to 145?

These are such rare wheels, there is little technical information out there. Anybody have knowledge of axles, bearing spans, etc?
Thanks

I saw a set on Ebay a few months back that were stated as 145mm so someone must have done it . Although I don't think this is recommended by the manufacturer as they were designed to be 160mm and the forces on the spokes ,and hubs etc would be different. Maybe the more experienced Tandem people here will have more info for you. I've never seen a converted set myself.
