Back pedalin' TWOgether!
Had a great 3 months summering/riding in northern Utah. Got in 1,500 miles of cool/great riding!
Spent 11 days driving/wandering through the western states back roads before coming home.
Left Utah where the highs were about 80 to a rather 'warm' 108 degrees in Tucson with high humidity/clouds/50 mph winds and much needed monsoon rain.
Driving through WY, NE, CO, OK, TX, NM was a real eye opener with the severe drought conditions. It was heart wrewnching to see corn turned brown and some of it only a foot high at the end of August.
One rancher we spoke with at a breakfast said he plowed under his 5,000 acres of corn and could not even use it for sillage.
Got home and had a bunch of issues: Need new garage door/motor/remotes; toilet backed up as did kitchen sinks; sewer line needed to be cleaned out (1st time in 33 years!), our huge palm tree (about 45 ft tall) needed trimming, and had computer issues.
Finally got back on our tandem today: cooler out, less wind/humidity . . . stopped for a coffee and huge cinnabun at our local bakery. A-a-a-h-h-h nice to be riding TWOgether again!
Hope you all had a great summer!

Yup, also noticed advert for Kaiser garage doors (a local outfit) that we actually ordered our garage door/motor/openers from!
Amazing how the internet invades our postings!
Our so-called fall weather brought the high temps down to a more beartable 90+ degree range.
