Sexy 26" road wheels?
Is there such a thing as a sexy 26" road wheel for tandems and that will go the distance (stoker mileage requirements may differ from captain)?
I'm not up on 26" wheels and my searches are not finding anything in the lower spoke count, lighter weight setups from Rolf, Topolino, or Velocity. Just about the only 26er with some glam that I found is the Tx2 at https://houseoftandems.com/about/tx2-wheelset-pg93.htm
... and it has to be at least rear disc compatible.
Options?

Da Vinci tandem claims to have 26" Rolfs. Not sure about the disk.
I have found wheels always looks sexy when viewed from behind. From the front - nothing looks sexy.
Wayne, who has conventional wheels that on a good day look sexy to some folks.

Handbuilt, lower spoke count Chris King hubbed, Velocity rimmed with Sapim spokes wouldn't be sexy enough.
There are also some carbon fibre rim, wheelsets available also.

Ah, the elusive exclusive offer. Silly me. Quite a premuim at $1300/pair. No specifics there about what type of Freehub - but that is just not a sexy item... it's like talking about a sexy gallbladder and such.

Rolf Tandem WheelsThrough exclusive arrangements with Rolf, now available for 26" road tandems as well as the standard 700c *** Add $50 for front disc brake$750$550

I wouldn't use Mavic Ksyriums on a tandem, too hairy for me.
"Nude" carbon wheels are too high maintenance for me.
