Full page popups
I'm getting full page popups now when I open the page to this forum. Its more than I can bear. Please make it stop.

There are probably some settings in your browser preferences that you can use to stop that. I'm also running Firefox on Mac and don't see any popups.

Similar problem: Some of the popups go to full screen when you roll over them. It is like navigating a mine field. It would be real nice if they went away also.

I get pop ups, some with video, when mousing over an add even without clicking on the add. When careful not to move to mouse pointer an add then no popup. I use Windows 7.

That happens to me randomly. Usually a simple refresh of the screen makes it go back to 'normal' for me.

Similar here at times. I don't don't bother with it and visit other sites to get my fix about other things like trucks or MTB tandems.

I paid for a membership a few years ago so I don't see most of the ads when I'm logged in. I just tried visiting from a different Mac with Firefox 12 and logged in as a guest. I see the banner ads on the top and right and in some postings but nothing full screen. I don't see any of the Vibrant mouseover ads though that's probably browser specific.

The whole pop up-thing is to generate revenue so that forum continues to run. Because I'd experienced the pop ups in another forum that I'm a member of, I elected to pay the pittance for a "supporting member" subscription. No more pop ups for me. All that said, I went the paid subscription route in Bike Forums to escape the ads shortly after I registered. Zero regrets (though I do catch an occasional ad at the top).
