Shimano 10sp Mtb RD compatability
I have Ultegra 6600 brifters and shimano 10sp 11-34 cassette. Can I use any shimano mtb rear derailleur or do they have various pull ratios between models?
Any preference for what model shifts best (XT or less, don't want to pay for XTR)? Thanks.

Any derailleur through 9sp should work. They changed the pull ratio for their 10sp mtb derailleurs, so skip those as they won't work with brifters. As for models, my experience is limited. I've got 50k miles on one 9sp XT (single bike), and almost 13k on another (tandem). They keep working so I have little experience with which to compare with others. :-)
