    Brother, can you spare $4,139?

According to Bicycle Retailer and Industry News the new Shimano Di-2 (9070 group) electronic shifting will set you back only $4,139 for a single bike.
It will be 25 grams lighter than the mechanical version with in-the-seatpost 'optional' battery setup.
The mechanical 9000 Di-2 version goes for a bit less at $2,695 . . . a price that'll let you buy some flowers for the stoker to appease her!

Or you could buy this bike for $3500. It has the Dura ace Di2 but a cheaper crankset and brakes.

A friend recently bought this bike and the shifting even under heavy load on steep hills is amazing.

I will be very happy to loan you that money with a $5000 non-refundable deposit with a $500 per month payment for 60 months and your house as collateral. See, some people will always work with you just for the good of humanity ya know.....
