Wound Up Duo Tandem Fork

I've been lurking here all fall and winter, reading a lot of good stuff, and mostly waiting to complete a rebuild of our older Cannondale tandem...and waiting and waiting. I ordered a Wound Up fork last October, and it finally came yesterday. I guess that some of you may have been waiting as well for the factory to restart. Wound Up is apparently back in production, so start bugging your suppliers.

I think I have gotten the tandem all together (i'll post some pictures here tomorrow). It wouldn't have turned out if you all hadn't (inadvertently) provided all of that good counseling.

Two questions: I saw, some time ago, a thread that talked about performance tires for a Bob...and now for the life of me I can't find it again. I have a Bob and would like to get the most out of it that I can...would someone give me an idea or two for tire upgrades?

Also, I bought a Gossamer tandem crankset (whilst waiting) and put that together...it seems to have a lot of drag. Is this something that will run in, or did I miss something in the assembly?
