A New Burley Rhumba, a New Project.

Just got this.

2002-3 Rhumba

Need to turn it back into this.

The wheelset is the expensive part I guess. I got the seller to include some sora brifters, and have a bunch of parts around, so I'm mostly just a wheelset away from a road tandem to complement our Samba!

Has anyone here done a full frame teardown and cleaning of BB shells, sprayed in framesaver, etc.? I have experience overhauling square taper BB's, but none with eccentric BB's. Do they take special tools to disassemble and remove?

I figure I might as well do that before building it up.

That's two Burleys and a Schwinn for us now. The Schwinn will get sold when our youngest can fit on the smaller Burley.

And just cause I can't help posting this pic all over....
