Mobile Phone Holder for Stoker

My stoker / wife would like a way to mount her mobile phone to her handlebar or stem. She wants to have it where she can see it, but doesn't want to hold it. She's been carrying it in a wedge bag under my seat. That works, but she really wants a hands-free option. She likes to look at our route on our GPS mapping app. I've looked around the internet tubes but haven't found anything that I thought might work other than a kickstarter project that isn't even available yet (and may never be).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

My wife uses this on her single, but it looks like it would mount on stoker stem just as well. https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/78234...pmd_google_pla

You could use Ram mounts. A little heavy, people use them on motorcycles and in cars:

You don't mention the brand of phone, but here are some choices here for iphone cases.

Considering the positioning of most stokers, some sort of attachment to the captain's back seems like it might work well.

I think my Quad Lock is the bomb, for the captain. It is real handy having the iPhone right there in front of me on the stem. The Garmin goes on its forward mount. I think this could go on the stoker's handlebar, but might be in danger rubbing the captain in the wrong way.

It uses a case that locks on to the mount.

How it would look for the stoker if on the stoker's bar.

I've discussed with my stoker getting a Quad Lock, but she is satisfied with harboring it in her bento box, along with other items she can keep at hand. Weighs only 30 grams, holds a fair amount, and no aero penalty tucked behind the captain's seatpost.

A Detours Stem Bag should do the trick. I have an older model, the newer model seems even more designed for iPhones. On mine I can only slip the phone into the bag without a case on it. This new model looks like it is a bit bigger and will take the phone still in the case.

https://www.detours.us/roadie-stem-bag.html

PS, if you ride in hot very weather you will not want to have the phone out exposed to the sun. Here in Texas if I ride with my phone exposed to the sun in the stem bag it quickly overheats until I see a temperature warning on the iPhone screen and the phone shuts down. Now I ride with the phone in my jersey pocket and don't have that problem.

The Tate Labs Bar Fly Universal Mount looks it could have lots of applicability for stoker gadgets, including cell phones.

However you end up mounting it, just don't drip a lot of sweat on it.
