explody,

there was a member from Tulsa, 1oldroadie. I met him up at HHH a few years back.
I haven't seen him on BF in a long time. Ok, scratch that, last post was in 2004, last
activity in 2006 and his sig now says Charleston SC.

Looks like it will be me and my girlfriend and about 4 Triathletes coming from Tulsa to the Redbud this year. I just signed up. Wooohoooo

50 miles at 7 am....I like the ride but it is always so cold...

explody pup 04-11-07 07:34 AM

Well. Looks like I'm out of it this weekend. Have too much catching up to do to stay away from the office for long. Hope everyone has a good ride.

If you're talking about the rides, I'm sure they'll throw in a lot of hills. There were a number of short and steep hills. There were a few killers. They have the route maps up for Sunday and Saturday. They look to be the same routes they had last year.

It was pretty well organized last year, but I heard a few complaints about them closing the century routes relatively early. Though that's understandable since they were limited on volunteers and still had to host the criteriums later in the day.

All in all I had fun. The criteriums were fun to watch, if you're sticking around.

Oh, and is anyone doing the Tour de Tulsa this weekend? I'm kinda 50/50 on whether or not I'm going.
