Anyone a member of the Ft Worth Bike Club??

I joined the FWBA a couple of months ago but haven't heard anything from them. They cashed my check and I thought I'd receive something in an email, snail mail or something. Is this just the way it is with the FWBA club? If I want to get discounts at bike shops, how do you prove you're a FWBA member? If anyone here is a member, please help me understand the process. Thanks!

I was actually looking at signing up yesterday. Please let me know how it turns out. I have thought about going on some of their rides.

I've emailed several times and emailed about 3 different people asking about the membership as well as info on the monthly meetings and still haven't heard back from anyone.

There is a meeting tonight (July 2). You could go and ask.

They also have a Yahoo Group.

I haven't joined yet, but I go on a lot of their rides. They are a good group.

I finally got my first FWBA club newsletter, so I at leas tknow I'm a member now. Ha! Pretty neat newsletter too!

Anyone planning on riding in the Peach Pedal this Saturday in Weatherford? I'm planning on doing the 27 mile. Has anyone done this ride before? Is it hilly or pretty flat?
