Need someone to marry us at bike rally

My fiancee and I are going to exchange vows at the Cowtown Classic bike ride in Crowley, TX, on 9/08/07, then proceed to join the ride. We are looking for someone to perform the ceremony and thought it would be great if the officiant was also a cyclist! My fiancee will be wearing a tuxedo jersey and me a bridal jersey, both from Primal Wear. The president of Primal Wear actually rush ordered a small jersey for me because they were on backorder until the end of August. He's asked that we send him photos from the wedding to feature in their website and catalog. OMG!!! Anyway, I'm just excited and need to find someone to make it official. We would be glad to of course pay the normal fee. Thanks everyone!

I know a pastor who rides the PBA popsicle ride every Tues/Thurs. I can ask him if he would be interested and put you in contact with him if you like. I have no idea what denomination he is if that even makes a difference.

Thanks!

Yeah, that would be great. Denomination is not of great importance to us. You can PM for details regarding contact info. Thanks!

Know any judges that ride bikes? They too can do the deed provided all the papers are in order.

My wife tells me that Terry Dorsey of KSCS radio fame can also get you hooked if you like country music. Justice of the Peace(s?) can be talked into about anything too. I once took pictures in a hot air balloon of a couple getting married by a JP and he got the balloon ride too.

See, you have all sort of options.

I have not seen the pastor that rides with us in a while. I will try harder to track him down.

Congratulations!! I caught up with the lovely bride and charming groom at at the last rest stop on the 56mile route. I must admit, the attire was pretty cool....I liked the veil! Wishing you both much happiness and a successful marriage.
