Dang this ragweed season!!

I've lived in North Texas almost 30 years, and don't recall ever having been this wacked by allergies. The last 2 weeks have been nothing but hacking and gacking. Have had to bail out on a few rides because I just couldn't breathe! Will it ever end?

I know what you mean, most years there is about a week or sometimes two that I am so bad that the meds don't work. It's been nearly a month now, and I think I might die soon. I hope not though.

Sudafed works for me, to supplement by daily Claritin and Flonase! This sucks. My six year old and three year old both have runny noses, red eyes and bad attitudes from this stuff. Come On freezing weather.

I hear the rainy summer is what has made it really bad this year. I've been feeling it, too. I had childhood asthma, and this is the first time since I was about 8 years old that I've experienced asthma symptoms--shortness of breath, that feeling like you can't get a complete lungful of air--as if you've just run a mile at a near sprint. Totally sucks.

I just came back from the doctor and mine progressed to bronchitis, and I just got a new bike a few weeks ago. I feel like I have been fighting this thing for a month now.

I feel like a sneeze machine. I'm getting really sick of this.
