I will be working overnight, and since it may well hit near dawn, I may be stuck at work. Work may be interesting, as I work for a big-city PD near the coast, though not right on the coast.

My father and brother are HFD. I've witness them get "stuck at work" before. Dang that "essential personel" clause that comes with some city jobs.

I shall be going to work as well if things aren't too insane. I don't need the brownie points at work that bad. Thing is just looking at my radar map I see a little swirlie patch of green and yellow that looks like it's hitting La. around Nawlins. If that's the storm it might not be too bad if it ever makes it here.
By the way Rex. If you don't have a gold shield they ought to give you one. My supervisor told me that some guy came looking for me the other day. His eyes nearly bugged out when I said, "Oh yeah, that was a cop looking for me, I already know he came by."
