The group I ride with sort of already does this.
We used to do it every Sunday: Meet in Uptown, then ride to a pub/restaurant somewhere in Dallas for drinks and/or food, then to another pub/restaurant for drinks and/or food (if we didn't eat at the first stop). Then it kind of fell apart, but some of us still get together now and then. We tend to stay in the Lower Greenville/Lakewood/Cedars/Uptown/Oak Lawn/Downtown area.

Well, if anyone is interested. My buddies and I will be starting to ride (hopefully weekly) soon here. Yes, it's a bit chilly out, but with Texas weather, you never know when you'll get a perfect day. Though I am a novice, I am very interested in getting into the Dallas cycle scene. Lower Greenville this Saturday anyone?

You Know!? For Kids!
Dorba used to do a Friday night ride down to White Rock Lake with a stop on the way back for burgers/beer. Not sure if they still do this. A few times a year they would also do a ride to the West End or someplace like that.

I'll do it. I live in Casa Linda and office in Lakewood. I have bikes in both locations. I'm right by the new Santa Fe Trail that goes from Woodrow Wilson HS to deep ellum/downtown.
