oh also I have this - it's a repro of the famous English roadster style. Rod brakes, heavy leather sprung saddle, the works. It's been sitting in the elements in my back yard but is still in great shape, I bought it new a few years ago and just never ride it.

Wow man you're better off selling or giving that bike away then letting it rot in the elements :-)

I have a Malaysian built Raleigh 3 speed sport ladies model, black and gold pinstriping, free to a good home. Needs work to get it back into top shape, new brake lever and replacement of the original steel wheels. The wheels seems to need new bearings, or maybe just tightening a bit, but with steel wheels, I could not be bothered. About 1972?

New tires, green slime in the front, 26x1.375". Sized for a medium tall woman, or a short man? Get it soon or it goes to Good Will.

JustMe23. Deflate the tires and make sure that they are on the rims right. Sometimes the tire bead does not seat fully and the tires can make the rims seem bent or warped. I would check with the closest community college and see if they have a bicycle co-op that lends tools and or expertise. Not sure if Dallas has any other bike co-ops.

Panic66, you left your location blank! At least the "552 LATA" that hos13 put lets those who work (or more likely worked ) in telecommunications field would understand is DFW.

I have a Roland tandem that needs wheels. ( ball bearings are really ruff on front, and on the rear , I saw the retainer was loose and turned the retaing ring clockwise ( hence loose) and all the ball bearings fell out )
it also needs a rear saddle.

would like to trade for 700 wheel set dubble walled for a bike I'm getting ready for my son to ride. Bearings on those wheels are also bad.

can't ship

Ortlieb panniers. Never been out of the box. Front and rear. New to touring and fell into these at Best Buy of all places. Not 100% what I'm looking for. But would like to hear what you got.

Hello everyone! I'm new to this. Don't know if I'm doing it right. Been out of the cycling loop for several years and starting to get back in it. Just got a new bike. I'm trying to appraise three others that I've had for some time. Can anyone suggest where I can get some help appraising them?

You can try the Classic and Vintage appraisal forum here on bike forums. Just be sure to post good pictures and give good detail. The more detail the more accurate your answer will be.

This thread is meant for trading stuff or giving stuff away, just so you know, but I understand not being sure where to post when you are new to the site.

I need brake levers for 1970s era English bike. It's a Raleigh Sports that the owner wants restored. I need three things:
1st - decent, rust-free wheel rims 2nd - brake levers (I've got the calipers) 3rd - rear reflector Can you help?

In exchange I have stuff to trade. This includes some older generation Campy and Shimano brakes, gears and lots more. However I really need to repair this 1970s bike, so please don't respond unless you've got vintage Raleigh-friendly stuff to trade. Thanks.

Dura Ace 7700 Pedals

I have a NOS set of DuraAce 7700 pedals in the SPD-R platform for trade. Unfortunately, to my knowledge shoe soles for this platform are no longer manufactured, making this a solid niche item. Holding hope there's someone out there who wants them and can put them to use.

I have a few pictures and similar description on CL: https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/bik/2646728604.html I don't mean to advertise my listing, it's just the easiest way for me to show pictures.

Really looking for a set of reliable 3x7 trigger shifters. Either a good race road or MTB saddle would be a check on my list, also. Anyone interested, I'm sure we can work something out. Not really interested in shipping them. I'm located in Denton.

I have a pair of Agu brand touring/MTB shoes that are labeled as a 43 but are actually a size or two smaller and I can barely squeeze them onto my feet. SPD compatible. Hopefully someone can use them.
https://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...2_10000_202526

I have several bins of various parts. Nothing of extreme rarity or value, but good if you need any of the items. I'll do an inventory and post some photos in the near future.

Looking for a set of Shimano 600 downtube shifters. The ones on my Prologue don't hold very well and the rear upshifts under stress.
