New LBS in Johnson County and So. Tarrant Co.
There is a new shop that went into Burleson by the Target on the corner of FM 731 and Hwy 174. The store name is Spoke's. I stopped in today just to check it out and it is a good small shop that seems to have a couple of guys running it that are doing it the right way in terms of customer service. I didn't buy anything but I am going back Tuesday for their group ride on Tuesday night and getting a bike fit before hand. They are the cheapest bike fit that I know around ($50.00) Anyway seem like good guys to service the area and they will order any parts etc. that you want. Just thought I would share the experience!

Went to the Tuesday night ride tonight and it was a lot of fun. No hammering and no drops but sprint uhills etc. We had everything from 11 year olds to Women to Men. You name it everyone was welcome! 10 showed up but anyone from here would be welcomed should they show!

It is at 6:30 on Tuesday nights. Not sure about plans for Fall. We were talking about the need for headlights and tails on the last ride due to it starting to be shorter days. I will ask next Tuesday the plans for the fall etc. Meanwhile if you ever want someone to ride with let me know and I would be up for someone else to ride with.

Any info on the fall? Head lights? Move to Sat? As soon as I get my saddle and helmet I'd like to join a weekly ride.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
How was the fit session? Did it help you any? I'm in the market for a new bike and will probably buy used, but would like to get a good fit on it. 50 bucks sounds like a hell of a deal.

Actually didn't do the official fit due to schedule problems but he has helped me on route make some adjustments and stopped my knee pain. The advise has been free but about to buy a wheelset and get the long needed official fit done. Missed the Tuesday ride this week but I am going to call and make sure time didn't change. It has been getting a little dark early on us so lights are starting to become a needed accessory due to dusk coming upon us so early.
