TCU jersey?

Anyone know where to find a TCU cycling jersey? It doesn't appear that the general "college jerseys" every include TCU, and I've called Colonel's bike shop right next to campus to no avail.

I'm an alum in Houston and would love to sport the purple on my rides.

I just want to point out that the TCU mascot is, in fact, a lizard, not a frog.

Yeah? So? You must be a riot at parties, Creaky.

If you need someone to pick up a jersey for you and you can locate one, let me know; I'm in Fort Worth, 6 miles from TCU. I may cruise by their book store and see what they have. I know of at least one person who has one (Dick Ruddell, the president of The T public bus service... on the right of the pic below); I maybe can ask him how he got his.

Funny, we called them Horned toads when we were kids. That was before they went on the endangered list.

The book store is online, and doesn't show them. They do have football jerseys, though.

There may be stuff in the store that they don't show online.

what size do you need? There's an obnoxious kid who sports one on the Trinity Trail as he endangers pedestrians, children and pets and other riders. I've been looking for an excuse to put a pump in his spokes.

He looks like a 'small'.

I appreciate the effort truman, but I am most definitely not a small. Perhaps if the kid had another one at home I could sew together, it would work.

I checked the bookstore when I was in town a couple of weeks ago, and didn't find anything. The TCU cycling club is now supposed to be "official" under the Rec Sports department, so I plan to try them next.

I ride out their at least once or twice a week. I've seen the guy you mention, also an older guy who has a full TCU kit...

I forgot to mention... I wouldn't mind having the full TCU kit (Jersey, bibshorts, socks and gloves) if you can find them.

Let me know what you come up with!

Wow, thanks for the compliment, I guess. Sorry you feel that way about us Horned Frogs. Where, pray tell, did you go to college? I'd love to slander you and your ilk the same way.

But seriously, the majority of folks I knew (and know) from TCU are great people. Nothing like those Mustangs from the lesser side of DFW.

Don't know if this site has been mentioned but just in case:

https://www.bicycle-gifts.com/colljers.htm

While I don't see one listed, think it would be worth an email to find out.

Good luck!

TCU jersey

TCU has started a cycling cub this past year and is working with Colonel's to get sponsored and a club jersey. Unlike our school, they do sell a nice jersey in the fan shop on campus, but last I heard they were out of stock. To contact the club president see clubs listed in the usacycling.org web site and send Tyler an e-mail to see what the status is of their club kit, and if you can get one.

I have received this email and will post here when I get an update.

I am going through the TCU rec. center to order jerseys. These jerseys are going to
be owned by the cycling club and can be purchased through the rec center. I am
working with the rec center right now to get all the specifics about pricing, how
long it will take to order them and all that. As soon as I gather all the
information I will send you another email to let you know about the status. One nice
benefit of buying the jersey is you are supporting our cycling team since all
proceeds go directly to us.

Cycling Club President
