Passing through Georgetown TX - I really want an excuse to bring my CX bike
This makes it seem like I have way way more free time than I actually do (yeah, this is stressing me out) but I need to be in Georgetown TX for a week early in July and maybe again late in July. I'll be doing this as part of a roundtrip from Georgia to California. The car will have a road and TT bike on top but there's one more space, for a CX bike (that I have).
Can someone give me an excuse to bring this to at least Georgetown (I may leave that bike in Tx and pick it up on the way back.)
I've poked around on mapmyride, etc but I'm not coming up with a compelling reason. The Goodwater trail seems a bit more mtb than what would be best for a CX bike.
I don't mind driving a little bit but not more than an hour each way.... thanks for any pointers :-)

Austin is a hotbed of CX. Maybe the Texascx.com website will give you some ideas how to put your CX bike to good use when you come through.
