In Austin 12/22 - 12/29 Urban Romp?
It would be a big pleasure to meet some of y'all. Show me how to rip it around Austin! I am here with wife, sons, and the rest of her fam so I will only have a little time to play. Wont have time for the long road rides but an urban assault in complex terrain finished with some pints would be AWESOME.

In what part of town will you be staying ? We also have B-Cycle bike share, now. And several places to rent different types of bicycles. What is your height and frame size ? May be able to ride out directly from my house on one of ours... I am married w/ 4 kids. However, my wife and our kiddos can get all around town by bike. And I can most likely twist off for a long exploratory ride and pints of local beers. Brainstorm list above. Also consider riding bikes to catch some of our local music scene, here. Stay away from tourist districts and hang with the locals... Bad news is I am committed for a bit of your window. Winter Solstice Party today and committed to wife's family on the 22 and 23. I might be able to twist off a bit on the 24th, more likely on the 26th and 27th. Lots of places and terrains to ride here. I will shoot you a PM w/ my contact info. Happy AllTheDays, Larry |

Maybe try using our public transit system (CapMetro Redline Rail or bus) or bikes or pedicabs... To The Trail of Lights in Zilker Park on Barton Springs Road. The whole family will enjoy. http://austintrailoflights.org Just noticed that Dec 22 is the last night. |

COME PARTY WITH US AND RING IN 2014 WITH A BANG. Austin’s Grateful Dead Tribute, Deadeye, will be playing the ABGB. The band will go on at around 9pm. They plan to play two long sets until 1:30, but we’ll stop at midnight for a champagne toast. Founded in 2010 by Joe Faulhaber and Shadd Scott. DeadEye has jumped down the rabbit hole with both feet. Deadicated to mastering as much of the catalog as possible and giving it a fresh, new energy. Doors: 8pm Show: 9pm Tickets - See more at: http://theabgb.com/new-years-eve/#sthash.ij1YSu0V.dpuf Lots of other stuff going on around town as well, I am sure. Fam and I will be in northern Ohio at some sort of holiday heated water park for New Year's. Have fun. |
