Newbie, Basic Bike Fit.. DFW

I bought a road bike recently and would like to get a basic/decent fit without dropping too much money. Is there a place/person you recommend in the DFW Area?

Since no one else has replied, I'll state the obvious: Richardson Bike Mart. It's been 5 years or so since I got my fit done there, but I was pretty happy with it. I think the stem was the only thing that needed to be swapped out...

The only issue I had was that the fitter insisted that my seat was at the right height, and in fact said it "could go higher". It felt off while at the store, and it felt off for the first 20+ mile ride I did with the new bike, and it wasn't until I lowered it a few mm that it didn't hurt to ride.

If I were to need that service again, I'd probably check out Plano Cycling and Fitness in Plano just to get a different perspective - both are nearby. Plus their "basic fit" service is a little cheaper.

Where in "D/FW"?
D/FW covers quite a bit of space. It might make it easier if you narrowed it down a bit.

The big players in that area are Richardson Bike Mart (the main store in Richardson on Campbell at Coit or the Frisco location which I think is on Preston a little north of 121), Plano Cycling and Fitness (75 between 15th and Park on the northbound side) and Performance (75 and Spring Creek).
I'm sure there are other places but these are the three that are most 'popular'. (For whatever that is worth.)

I started using Bike Medics, because they come to you. I don't have a way to load up by bike on my Chevy Sonic and my car is too small to load it in. Nate is the guy that usually comes out and he fixes everything on the spot, unless it is something major. Then he takes the bike and usually delivers it back, good as new, in a day or two. The number is 214-244-7738.

I went to Performance in Plano(75 and Spring Creek) they were really cool and were thorough with teaching about bikes, and showing/fitting me for best bike
