I've done the Chappell Hill Head for the Hills organized ride a couple of times and there is a designated parking off road in a big field. I was thinking of heading that way sometime soon to get some hill riding in. Any advice on where to park?

Go past the field you parked in and right on the right you'll see a church, park behind the church. You'll see a little box there and you can put a couple of dollars in it, for letting you park there.

The other option is to drive out to Washington on the Brazos state park and ride from there. You can either ride down to Chappell Hill and back or head out towards Brenham and Independence and back around to the north. One thing to note is that I believe there is a road race being held out there this weekend, so you might want to avoid trying to ride out there this weekend.
