Day 5 Geraldine to Lake Tekapo
Day 5 Geraldine to Lake Tekapo 90 km.
After saying goodbye to the Dutchies i left Geraldine at 0800.
It supposed to be a hard ride, with the first mountain pass on 709 mtr.
The weather was foggy and not too hot, perfect for riding.
Stopped at Fairlie to put on some clothes and eat a energy bar, then the final ascent for another 30 km.
After reaching Burkes pass, it went down real good and i had a beautiful view on the Southern Alps.
Arrived in Lake tekapo at 1330, wich was a good time i think.
Tommorow i have a day off, i`m gonna do some real laidback walks
cheers
