Evo Classic Front Rack

No problem connecting the bottom of the rack to the front dropout. Received screws and an adapter but the screws didn't fit the top of the fork hole and perhaps not the adapter. I imagine I want a hex bolt for the fork hole and something similar for the adapter. Could maybe figure it out with a trip or two to a hardware store but maybe someone here has experience. The bike is a Men's Ross Mount Washington (mountain/road).

Still working on the fork - M14 screw may be the best bet but I may need to cut it in order to have the M6 nut close.

Not sure if you are taking about bolt length but you can use spacers, and those screw on round things on presta valves make handy little spacers for rack bolts if the bolt is too long. I've used them before and they do the job.

pictures would help. this is your basic blackburn clone?

adapter? you mean the long (usually) flat metal strut, usually with some
bends in it? bolts to bottom of rack, other end bolts to fork crown?

if so, and it don't fit....throw it in the parts bin for another day. just
about anything will work. i'm pretty sure the weight is carried by the
legs, the support strut/adaptor mainly holds the rack in place.

i hit the maintenance shop here at work, they got a couple hundred
wall-mount fans getting thrown own....pulled some metal support
strips, bent-cut-drilled one to fit.

and do use them self-locking nuts......

We would love to help, but I feel I'm not really sure what part you mean.
Do take some photos and that way you'll get some more concise suggestions.
