Brand May be just for someone There, Your Shops, though the Factory in China Makes other tents for other companies.

I am not a fan of chasing separate Rain-flys down wind when the gale blows it out of my hands
before I can Fit it on the tent.

Was the revue video production what was Important to You?

If I didn't spend my money on expensive tents I would just piss it away on something else, like retirement savings.

How about throwing those of us who cannot watch the video a bone by telling us the make and model so we can do our own independent research?

ahh don't be worring about things like that how many time have you read or heard about expensive tents and the poles breaking sure doesn't the big guns give you tent repair with there tents so obviously they expect them to break sooner or later .
that wee baby cost nuts compaired to the so called top brand tents .

Like the twin door functionality on this, she doesn't have to climb over to go get your breakfast in the morning.

But there were also comments that 1) the broken pole section was quickly replaced with no questions or returns asked; and 2) the pole hub part responsible for the break has been redesigned on the current model.

Sounds like a good company that's concerned with making their product better and responding to customer feedback.

I personally wouldn't like that one as much for bike touring. Lots of my stays are in group Hike&Bike sites where others might be walking right by your tent during the night. The one pictured appears to be dependent on lots of guy lines stretched away from the tent fly and look perfect for tripping someone walking nearby in the dark.

Great review TB I watched the follow up videos solving a few short comings the tent has and on the broken pole don't worry I have busted a pole on a Ferrino and there not cheap tents so it happens. I think what he showed is a bang for buck tent with a few added touches makes for a better product. I myself like 2 man tents for a single person it equals more room just my choice. I also think that while the review was long it was detailed and while he was at it gave product advice one being the 2mm guy rope that's the type of touches to reviews I like. I also liked the fact that while reviewing the tent he made mention of possible issues but were going to test out the tent and see if changes were required another thing needed in reviews. His voice was clear and audible and had a good flow to the review something else I like. I think the biggest plus is the service he received from the company to solve an issue he had just shows a cheaper tent still can have the backup needed and that's important.

keep up the good work getting out there and doing it doesn't have to cost an arm and leg which I think he showed an affordable product can cut the mustard. It's about knowing the choices out there and all reviews can aid in the decision making helping someone get over the line or spotting something that needs further attention to satisfy your needs.

Thanks

Although many good tent companies have their tents made overseas, I would be very wary of knockoffs. A tent can look the same but the thread count may not be the same and cheaper zippers etc. Buy a USA made tent or tarp. 3+ lbs is not light and it probably won't last long and then you'll be back to square one. Check out Suisse Sports Designs (at outdoorgearup.com), American made, great shelters!
