Would anyone like to read my book about cycling around the world?

Hello. I'm new here, so I hope that this is an appropriate place to post this request.

I've spent the last three years trying to travel around the world using only my bicycle and boats, and I am now in the process of writing a book about the experience. It would really help me a lot to get some feedback on what I've written so far, and I'm asking to see if there is anybody here who would be interested to read the first few chapters (I've got about 40,000 words so far) to provide some general feedback.

The reason why I'm posting here is because my blog was hosted on another site (Crazy Guy) and I want to try and find someone to read the book that does not already know my blog, but would still fall into the category of someone who would buy/read this kind of book.

If you are interested, please just let me know.

Thanks
Chris Pountney

Chris
I've been following your postings on crazy for some time, if you put a book together about that trip i'd buy it.

Sure, sure, glam it up, bicycle and boats only my ar** --- there was that certain X number of metres in jeep driven by a relatively attractive Mongolian woman.....

Sorry, that both eliminates me from being objective, yet at the same time probably piques the interest of some others here.

Been reading for years and have never sent a message. So now's my chance. Its been fun reading, you're young (ish), bloody minded and frankly a bit of a twonk sometimes, but you know what, I'm old enough to be your dad but it really has been enjoyable reading along all this time and I was very happy for you with the Drug Enforcement Agency.
ps, just the other day I tried enlarging a photo of your frame and was wondering how that weld has held up.
pps, its', i'ts, no wait, it's too late and you had your friend here anyway, but I would have offered to put you up when you came through here, our son moved out so have a spare room. By the time I read that part, you had come and gone.

All the best getting someone who is a good editor to go over it all and to structure it so that it flows along well. If you are stuck, get back to me.

cheers, hope you didn't take my lamekeester attempt at humour the wrong way, and especially hope the eye thing is well and truly gone.

yours truly, an old(ish) touring guy
