I had never heard of the brand. Google provides the link below and links to reviews.

Velotraum, Fahrräder aus Weil der Stadt

it's a small brand, unknown outside of germany, has a website with no english tab.
this is an english language forum, with majority of members from north america,
plus a few from canada.

you could try a german language forum

bike forums-ish web sites in Deutschland?

You must understand, most bikeforums users are in the Americas. We have many U.S. based bicycle companies that are churning out very similar bikes from Asian factories at a fraction of the cost of European manufacturers. It's unlikely that anyone here has even heard of this niche German bike manufacturer (I'm a bike mechanic of about 4 years, have spent a month in Germany, and I've never heard of them). Their website doesn't even appear to have an option for english (pretty sure my chrome browser is auto-translating it for me as I scroll through the home page).

With the cost advantages Taiwan's OEM contract factories offer to Importing Brands, around the world,

you may have to go to their site, to confirm they are actually making the whole bike,

or just warehousing , distributing and covering warrantee. Or doing the component fitting, in house ..

Hi Abu,

If I may ask, how do you know the build quality is superb?, and what does "superb" mean to you? Superb in what way or ways, specifically?

Also, how do you know that the frames are beefy? What exactly do you mean by "beefy" in specific aspects, parameters, measurements, specs?

Velotraum have no one on their team that makes the frames so I presume the frames are from Taiwan or China

per website "Die Produktion unserer Rahmen erfolgt in Asien, genauer gesagt in Taiwan."

(Our frames are produced in Asia, specifically in Taiwan.)

more detail under the "Unser System" --> "Rahmendesign" tabs.

google translate will do entire webpages if you don't read deutsch.
