LHT gear ?

Would anone know if there are duplicate gears on my LHT? In other words would there be any gears on smallest and next to smallest ring up front?

Almost for sure.
It depends on what your chainrings are and the teeth on each cassette cog. Listing the teeth for each ring and cog in a web program could show you which are redundant.

LHT had many different components over the years and the first few years they were all sold as frame and fork only.

So we can't answer your question, it is not that we did not want to.
