Saw that a few days ago, and completely forgot to post it!
As a solo guy, it may be something I'd try, but people also accuse me of having a death wish. Not particularly sure I'd take the fiancee, though. Just because one person managed to do it, does not mean it is safe. There was another solo female traveler a few years back, Pippa Bacca, who tried the same thing hiking, and was murdered.

anyway, the risks are real, and at the end of the article Rebecca wrote that she wouldnt allow her daughter to do it !!
