Anyone done around Sardinia?

Having just done Corsica, I am planning next summer's trip. I intend to ride around the coast. Has anyone done it and can anyone give me some idea of the terrain, etc. Is it as hilly as Corsica?

Yes, I did Sardinia. It's not as hilly as Corsica, but dang is it arid and hot... be sure to carry plenty of water and snack foods, because I had a difficult time trying to find places to stop for refreshments. It was probably my worst bonk ever.

Someone recently wrote a book about a bicycle tour around Sardinia, with the title being something like "The Lead Goat Veered Off." It is, or was, available from Amazon.

Neil Anderson wrote that book about Sardinia (and others), and it a great guy to talk to. I don't know if he is a member of this forum, but I know you can reach him at touring@phred.org
