Anybody own one of these? They look like a Brooks with the middle cut out and priced from $70.00 - $200.00. Just curious, and before I buy another B17 to break in. They do look very promising.
Sorry, spelling error, that's Selle An-Atomica.

Got mine on yesterday(robusto). Rode it on a 12 mile loop and I really like it. Had a Flite TA that was eating me up at baout 45 miles. I'll post the progress.

R,
It's almost two months old and about 570 miles ago. I LOVE it! I have finally got the tilt right for me and have tinkered with the tension as per the instructions. I have got it it close and feels great. I can wholly recommend this saddle. I don't get the ouch factor I did with my Flite. Heavy, but worth every gram!

There's almost 18 different saddles to choose from with all the factors in play, and while they'll let you trade for a different model, it's $25 plus shipping each way. Ouch.

So which model, laminate choice and cutout did you choose? How did you make that decision?

I e-mailed for like daily for a month. They were very patient with my questions. I have the Titianico, with an extra laminate underneath because I'm a big guy (220 lb). Love the thing and highly recommend talking to them. Go here

I've been to their website, thanks (I like the video clips). You are the only person I've heard actual results from, so I appreciate all comments you have about it. I had been looking for a more comfortable seat even before the NYT article (10/4/05) listing renewed problems with bike saddles and ED. I wondered if with your new seat you had experienced any "tingling" or numbness, and which style of the three cutouts you chose (maybe when you bought yours there was no slot option?). Did you feel this saddle was "broken in" from the start? I'm almost down to your size so all your info is really relative to me, thanks again.

Selle An-Atomica

rlong & jcbryan -- Are you still riding the Selle An-Atomica? If so, what are your impressions now 8 months later?

Anyone else tried one of these saddles? I have contacted them and have emailed with Tom. Thus far, he has responsed pretty quickly. However, he doesn't seem to want to provide much in the way of explanation of help in his replies thus far. I hope that changes as I'd like to try one of their saddles. But, at $150, I'd like Tom or someone with the biz to have a dialogue with me to ensure I get the best model of their saddles.

Any thoughts or info from anyones is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I am asking about this specific saddle and am not comparing to brooks and am already very familiar with the fact that this is a "personal" choice, etc. I'm just wanting specific experience and thoughts from those who have ridden it including any particulars that their behinds have noted.

I had the same experience with him. He seems pretty accomodating at first, but gets frustrated with someone really trying to understand their purchase prior to making it. I had several suggestions for him to put more information on his website and such, but then he just shut down and stopped responding to my emails. I'm not putting the price of a used bike in the hands of a loose cannon company. Maybe I'll reconsider when I get hear lots of great feedback from other users, but I'll let the other lemmings go first...

Redrom,
Yes, still loving it on my 520. They were extremely patient with me and my questions. Please note that I called instead of emailed some on the time, I made a list of questions and jotted as they were answered. I can't think of not having it. I know the the B17's at Lick Bike are very reasonable too, though.
Let me know if you need pics or other info.Best, John

I had good luck e-mailing back and forth with Tom. So far I have a few hundred miles on mine and it is a lot better then my brooks was in the numbness department.
