Schwinn SuperSport DBX
I'm interested in the Schwinn SuperSport DBX for 40% commuting, 40% training/dayrides and 20% loaded touring (though this may be my most important priority). The other bike I was considering is the Kona Sutra.
Any feedback?
What's up w/ Schwinn? Can't seem to find a local dealer and some say they're outa business completely.
Thx,
CPW

"Bicycling" had a really good write up on this bike a few months ago, and I think their website archives all their reviews. I searched these forums a couple times for feedback on this bike, myself, so I'd be interested to see if anyone's got one. In my opinion, this seems like a great bike that can do it all. A lot of nice, well-thought-out features and a lot of bang for the buck. Schwinn went out of business a few years ago, but got bought up by Pacific. They catch a lot of flack, (and rightly so,) for their cheap, crappy X-mart bikes, but they also have mid- to high-end stuff that appears to be very nice. I would love it if they became a strong, quality company again, like Fuji after they had their slump.

Can't get anything to come up on Bicycling's website. Sent them an email but no response.
