The good news is the long awaited Surly Nice rack is available...
The bad news is that it costs more than a Tubus! I've seen the Surly Nice Rack online, priced in US dollars from $90 to $136. I've seen Tubus Cargo racks priced from $85 to $100. Bruce Gordon racks, which many say are the best, are $149.
I find this a bit disapointing as the blurb on the Surly website said:
We thought our Long Haul Trucker touring frame deserved some durable, affordable, expedition-worthy racks to compliment it. So we designed the front and rear Nice Racks.
Oh well, maybe they'll come down in price...
