Bicycle plea for peace Tour!

Hey all, this may interest some of you touring buffs. There is a near yearly music tour called the "plea for peace tour" featuring generally punk/ska oriented bands. Well I just found out that they are doing a Plea for Peace Bicycle Tour, where bands, and fans I suppose are going to do a bicycle tour through california playing shows along the way. Being into the music and having done a short tour, I thought it was about the coolest idea, anyway check it out, they could use donations, and probably some of your touring wisdom.

I don't understand what "peace" have to do with raising money for a youth music rec center? Sorta misleading if you ask me.

This is an annual tour that usually just goes around with bands telling people to chill out, respect others, and be concsious about politics, and whatnot. This is the first year that raising money for such a thing has occured, I believe.

Maybe it's been the plan to do such a thing for years now. Damn those sneaky musicians.
