What about used Airborne

touring bike, the Carpe dieme? i had beeen considering getting one for light touring, but then they went out of business. Were the bikes bad in any way, or is it just the marketplace?

Everything I've heard about them was first rate. They are basically the american distributor for Flyte bicycles. The name "Airborne" was licensed from Huffy, and the license wasn't renewed. I'd have no hesitation getting one in a heartbeat. (FWIT, I loved their website, but I'm a sucker for WWII aircraft)
If memory serves, there was a thread about that over in general or road cycling forums
