I am planning a tandem bicycle trip (likely via a supported-tour company) for our honeymoon and wanted to get some ideas on the best times of year to go. Is April - June a fine time to visit any place in Italy or Southern France? Is April too cold and/or rainy? Is June too hot? Thanks for any pointers and suggestions. I would also appreciate any leads on supported/organized tours for these regions or recommendations as to whether we should do Italy (what part?) or Provence.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Well, in my limited experience, Italy could be a bit chilly and rainy in early to mid April, but that was just during one year. BTW, southern Italy--south of Rome, is beautiful, not too touristy, and great for riding.
