I just heard about what promises to be a good tour on the Eastern shore of Wisconsin along Lake Michigan.
If you have ever been there, you know that along the Great Lakes, the air has a wonderful kind of coolness even in July.
It is a two day tour; 75 miles per day. Starts just north of Milwaukee and ends in Sturgeon Bay which is a vacation spot in the Door County Peninsula (sp?).
The best part is that it the ride is to raise money for the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society.
For more info, contact Ms Carrie Reuter:

I think that tours around the Great Lakes are wonderful because the air is so fresh and crisp. If you know of any other tours around the Great Lakes, please let me know or post them.

Hi Mike,
I agree that a large body of water adds great ambience to a bicycle tour. Below is some info on a Lake Erie tour and a link a page that lists many Ohio organized tours.

Cool, man.
Thanks for the post. You know, we should have a board advising upcoming rides and events.
Hmm.... I think I will mention it to Joe.

Maybe you could make it one of the major topics (ie commuting, rants, etc - ) so it will be easy to find.

Well, Joe, you know how much time I spend on Bikeforums.com and I didn't notice it until you told me where to look.
Seems like a thing that deserves a spot on the main page. It could be a way to help bikeforum.com members to meet each other.
