My Cannondale T2000 tires!!!!!

I am an extremely inexperienced cyclist and bought the T2000 after much homework.

I cycled 1400 miles on it, in 22 days, and then cycled 2/3 hours a day, for 3 weeks around Katrina devastated country roads...glass, debris, garbage.....you name it.

How many flats?.....ZERO

If you don't like the bike, at least buy the tires.

If Cannondale needs a spokeswoman, have them call me!

Are they Conti Travel Contacts, Helen? What size are you running, the 700x37s?

Yes, to both questions. However, I noticed they have changed the tires for the 2006 model, AND it doesn't have a Brooks Saddle. The company is going downhill!!!!!

Glad to hear you had such good performance out of the Conti Travel Contacts (and a good ride besides, I hope?) Continental tires have always been a personal fav of mine.

I looked at the Cannondale T-800 last weekend and liked the bigger tires. It was heavier than a Trek 520 sitting beside it which sort of surprised me. Now on a bike like this weight is of secondary importance but, either the T-2000 is a lot lighter due to whatever reason or, Cannondale must be using some awefully thick aluminum in those tubes.
