2 Touring Gear Recommendations

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone's tried either of these (I've tried both.)

1) The mini foot pump: I know everything is pretty subjective on tour, but this foot pump owns!! I was so impressed with it, and it showed no signs of wearing, breaking, etc, but my touring partner managed to lose the lock ring that held the pumping adaptor valve on, so it became useless pretty quick. (but in all fairness, you lose that adaptor for any pump and you're screwed.) (http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/air-pump/air-pump.htm)

2) The Farrahd Manufactur T400. This is a mint touring bike, the cheapest I've ever seen for what comes stock on it. (As long as you dig 26" tourers.) It's on a dutch website, and would unfortunately have to be ordered from Europe, but even the delivery charges wouldn't trump the cost of the components on the bike. He's got a lot of nice other stuff, too. A lot of touring bikes and strange, useful accessories. I met this guy (Marco) and my tour through europe 2 years ago, I stayed and him and his wife's place in Rotterdam. Great people! Dig his site (using Babelfish to translate helps a bit for navigation.) www.bike4travel.nl

10 pumps per psi? That's a thousand of them to get up to 100...

My vote is for the Topeak Road Morph instead. Great and versatile, easy to mount on your bike, and handles high pressures (not that I need it, with 90 psi tyres).
