Bear Mountain Weekend

Rode with my wife from Brooklyn to Bear Mountain this weekend, It was awesome! About seventy miles from our house to the lodge we stayed at.
We rode up on saturday and stayed the night then back on sunday. She carried everything on her back rack pannier. She's training for a bigger ride so I got to rock my fixed gear with nothing on my back .

It was pretty cold on Saturday so we dressed warm and took off some gear as we heated up. Snow on the ground sunday morning but it turned out to be a beautiful day. It's nice to know that the mountains are only a bike ride away.

Where'd you stay? Sounds like an awesome trip - it's one I wanted to do all fall, and never did
