Norway pictures

Finally after six months a few pictures of my trip to Norway last June.
The usual tourist crap, lots of overcast sky, but if you want to take a peek

There are several pages, Oslo, Bergen, etc...you'll figure it out

Great pictures!! What camera did you use?
My grandmother was from Norway (near Bergen) -- I hope I have a chance to visit one day.

It's beautiful. I have a friend that has been to Norway many times for x-country ski races, and it sounds wonderful. Coincidence: you and him have the same touring bike.

How did your bike handle with most of the load up front?

I'd love to see more pics.

I used an Olympus point and shoot film camera for the pics.

I had a lot of rain, some parts of the country, esp. Bergen and the western fjords are known for their rain, but I happened to be there in their coldest spring in the last 30 years (some people said 50).

I had some problems getting the stem tight and the weight on the front didn't help. Once I got the stem tight enough it was good, I had the weight fairly balanced between front and rear.

Some of the smaller roads have very little traffic and despite the mountains the roads are well graded, not steep. Recommended if you don't mind hills, and are willing to deal with the high prices -hostels are a good deal, camping is not too bad, hotels are outrageous!
