Giant SCR v OCR

Thanks for all your comments regarding my London to Paris trip.

I'm taking advantage of the cyclescheme through my company so I can actually afford a better bike.
I went to my local bike shop today but only had about 5 minutes due to work commitments, I was looking at the Giant OCR2 - I'm going back later in the week to try it out however he also mentioned the Giant SCR as a step up in comfort although he didn't neccessarily think it was woth the extra. I just wondered if any of you have come across the SCR and had any feedback on it, I have to admit it's the first I had heard about it and I can't seem to find much info on them.

Many Thanks

Darren

Could he possibly have said FCR? This is a fitness road bike with flat bars and has a more comfortable riding position.

It was definitely the SCR, this is what it says on the Giant website:

Designed to put you a more upright riding position, you'll be able to ride longer and stronger without sacraficing performance. It's the perfect combination for the performance-minded rider looking for a more forgiving ride.

There's definitely a lack of information about this, I can't find any reviews or anything!

I have enclosed a small picture of the SCR below.

Regards

Darren
